  • Mon 15 January – Sun 4 February

Part of Calm Down Dear, a three-week festival of innovative feminist performance.

Created by Racheal Ofori, presented by Fuel and Camden People’s Theatre

    My Mum said to me
‘if you ever have children, don’t have girls.
They give you too much of a headache.’

So Many Reasons is a story about the unique influence our mothers have on us and how we understand the world, particularly on ideas around sexuality and religion. Exploring cultural and generational shifts as well as world of first time sexual experiences, this bold new show asks what happens when we realise mums don’t always know best. Written and performed by Racheal Ofori, the piece infuses poetry and endearing wit, as we follow Mel navigating the world.
