Rita Parninsky's Weaving with Light
Runner up for the Materials Innovation award Rita Parninsky launches her first solo exhibition Weaving with Light welcoming visitors to an installation of The Forest of Architectural Monofilament.
Earlier this year, she won the prestigious Perrier-Jouët Arts Salon Prize 2016 which included a solo exhibition of work presented by Perrier-Jouët Champagne. For this occasion, she made two new large-scale pieces to premier alongside works created since 2009. Working closely with curator Julia Royse she displayed sixteen pieces including photograms and hand-woven textiles of X-Ray Series.
The exhibition runs until 30th July at Contemporary Applied Arts Gallery 89 Southwark Street London SE1 0HX (behind new Tate Modern); Monday - Saturday 10-6
