Regina Moriarty studied photography before working as a Probation Service tutor in South London for ten years. She graduated from the National Film and Television School in 2012 with an MA in Screenwriting, and was subsequently selected for C4’s ‘Coming Up’ strand which resulted in her first broadcast credit ‘Sammy’s War’. In 2014 Regina completed the Royal Court Writers Programme and in the same year wrote Murdered by My Boyfriend, a one hour factual drama for BBC3. Murdered by My Boyfriend was awarded Best Single Drama by the Royal Television Society, and nominated for a BAFTA in the same category, while Regina was nominated for a Breakthrough Talent BAFTA. In 2016 Regina was the recipient of the WFTV New Talent Award. Regina currently has several TV projects at various stages of development
