Become a Friend & Patron

The Arts Foundation has made it possible for a large number of creative people to achieve things that they wouldn't have achieved otherwise.

Sir Richard Eyre

Given ongoing precarity across the arts and culture sector, and the current cost of living crisis, there has never been a more urgent time to support artists and creatives.

By becoming a Friend and Patron of the Foundation you can directly support the livelihoods and future generation of artists and creatives in the UK.

Every donation goes straight to artists as part of our unique Arts Foundation Futures Awards Fellowship programme, with friends and patrons’ enjoying a range of benefits including invitations to one-off artist events and gatherings.

We are immensely grateful for all levels of contributions to our Fellowship scheme, any amount can be pledged at any time, and anonymity is carefully respected if requested.

We kindly ask you to consider donating on an annual basis, which helps us to be able to forward plan and expand our work. When becoming a Friend or Patron online you can also register for Gift Aid by ticking the relevant box. For every £1 given by a UK tax-paying donor, the Arts Foundation will receive an extra 25p from HMRC, at no extra cost to you. Similarly, if you pay Income Tax at a higher or additional rate you can claim the difference between the rate you pay and the basic rate on your donation. If you want to receive the additional tax relief due, you must include all of your Gift Aid Donations on your Self-Assessment tax return or ask HMRC to adjust your tax code.

If you would like to discuss other, and or, higher-level support options, for example, supporting an award or leaving a legacy for future generations, please do contact us to arrange an informal call.

We look forward to welcoming you as a Friend and Patron of the Arts Foundation and our vibrant community of artists.
