The Board of Trustees is delighted to announce that Mary Jane Edwards has been appointed Director of The Arts Foundation on a permanent basis.
Howell James CBE, Chair of The Arts Foundation said:
“I and my fellow Trustees are thrilled that Mary Jane is staying on with the Arts Foundation to drive the next phase of the charity’s development. Mary Jane brings with her a breadth of expertise and experience across the field of arts and culture and a deep commitment to nurturing and supporting artistic and creative talent.”
Mary Jane Edwards shared:
“I am immensely excited to work with the Board to shape the Art Foundation’s next chapter and continue to support and resource individual artists and creatives, upon which the entire arts ecology in the UK depends. While cultural life is feeling brighter, it remains a precarious time for the creative sector, so I look forward to working with our partners, and others, who share our belief that artistic practice and development are integral to the wellbeing of society.”
