Currently based in Folkestone’s Creative Quarter (Kent), our organisation continues to cultivate time-based work that critically and physically pushes the boundaries of body, time and space.

Bean & Benjamin have been creative partners since early 2011. Their combined professional practice spans; co-direction of ]performance s p a c e [, their individual visual art practices, a collaborative curatorial practice and arts management, production and teaching.
The pair are interested in the activation of art as a philosophical process of enquiry and root their activities in continuing lineages of DIY and counter-cultural activity with explicit interest in the production of new queer narratives of cooperation, exchange and being.
