Fridtjof Ryder has been writing prose, screenplays and directing films since the age of fifteen, including a National Film and Television School showcase starring BAFTA-nominated actor Ronald Pickup.
Fridtjof’s debut feature film as a writer & director, INLAND, premiered at the BFI London Film Festival in competition and was long-listed for 10 BIFA awards. The film was made when Fridtjof was between nineteen and twenty-two years old. INLAND stars Oscar winner, Mark Rylance (Bones & All, Bridge of Spies), Rory Alexander (Pistol) and Kathryn Hunter (Poor Things, The Tragedy of Macbeth). It was released widely in UK cinemas by Verve Pictures.
Fridtjof is currently developing a number of interdisciplinary projects and developing his second feature film.
