Jemima is a writer, performer, theatre-maker and musician who blends powerful, sonic-heavy words with snippets of song in her distinctive voice.

Jemima has written five works for the stage. Melody and Above the Mealy-mouthed Sea with Lucy Allan and their theatre company Unholy Mess. Rear View with experimental theatre veterans I.O.U, Kiss Me, Help! I hate you which was commissioned by the National Writers’ Centre and tours around rural pubs and Bad Faith, a collaboration with choreographer Tara D’Arquian. Jemima performs her work both nationally and internationally and has written many commissions including for BBC 2, BBC Arts, Channel 4 and Tate Britain.

All Damn Day, Jemima’s first collection of poetry, was published by Burning Eye Books in September 2016. Jemima is currently working on her debut novel. Jemima is represented by Becky Thomas at Johnson and Alcock.
