“When I have an idea for a poem or a piece of writing it makes me feel alive” says Rob Autonm who since 2012 has been working as a full-time poet. In that year he wrote and performed his first solo show The Yellow Show, an hour long poetry/comedy/theatre show about the colour yellow and has subsequently wrote an annual production for Edinburgh which have been critically acclaimed. He published Petrol Honey in 2014 with Burning Eye books, and his writing was adapted into short films broadcast on Channel 4. He was the official Glastonbury Festival Poet in Residence in 2014 where he documented his stay at the festival through poetry and uploaded the poems onto the official website. He currently helps to run ‘Bang Said The Gun’ a weekly poetry night in London out of which an anthology was published by Burning Eye books.
